"Fossils in Focus" Exhibit

Fossils in Focus is a rotating gallery space that showcases the Museum's latest research as well as old treasures that have never previously been on display.

MY RESPONSIBILITIES

I was in charge of developing the space's visual identity, including the exhibit logo, colour scheme, text panels, and info graphics. I also assisted the 3D designer with material choices and exhibit installation.

The exhibit logo and titles feature a clean, geometric typeface with parts of letters cut out and shifted.  This is meant to reflect the nature of new things being "revealed" and stories "coming into focus" in this gallery.

SKETCHES + BRAINSTORMING

My process sketches show the development of this exhibit's visual language, building a system of consistent colours, shapes, angles, and motifs for use throughout the space.
